In Case You Missed It
The “Send David Back” party Wednesday evening was a great success. Below are a few photos from the event, highlighted by Governor McAuliffe’s surprise appearance. We sang “Happy Birthday” to Sen. Creigh Deeds, commiserated about the last election, and vowed to fight harder for the values we feel are important for Virginia and the nation.
The Future Starts Now
Our next election is about 300 days away and it is important to elect Democrats as our next Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General of Virginia. The General Assembly session begins January 11th and my focus will continue to be on the initiatives that make our Commonwealth stronger— jobs for Virginians, spreading economic opportunities throughout the Commonwealth, increasing the pay of our friends and neighbors, investing in public education at all levels, supporting expansion of renewable energy, fighting the scourge of climate change, and protecting women’s rights, voting rights, and the rights of minorities.
Thank you
I thank all who came last evening and hope that those who were unable to attend will continue to help me by providing ideas. Your enthusiasm and support help me to keep building the network of Virginians who share our values in the 57th district and throughout the Commonwealth.
